Special Someone for Two Horns by Catherine Likhuta

"Special Someone" (2020) is a short jazzy duet for horn and bassoon*. It was commissioned by Liz Deitemyer as a gift for her partner, Parker Nelson. This video was recorded during the Covid-19 pandemic, for the world premiere at the virtual Fresh Inc Festival on June 17, 2020 by members of the Fifth House Ensemble.
